Havenwood: a quiet, wood-front desk PC for everyday tasks

Havenwood is an affordable full-size desktop for people who need a dependable everyday computer and want it to look good on the desk. It’s built in a DIY-ATX28 case with a wood front panel and dust filter, and keeps noise down with a low-profile Thermalright AXP120-X67 cooler (4 heat pipes, quiet fan).

Affordable, with plenty of cores and memory

Havenwood puts value first. An Intel Xeon E5-2680 v4 workstation processor gives it extra CPU cores, which help with encoding and transcoding. 32 GB of Machinist DDR4 memory (2 × 16 GB) keeps light multitasking smooth. The EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 SSC 4 GB graphics card is good for 1080p light gaming and classic or vintage titles, and a 1 TB NVMe M.2 SSD gives you fast storage for Windows, apps and files. Everything runs on a MACHINIST X99-MR9A PRO MAX motherboard and a Thermaltake Smart 600 W, 80 Plus certified power supply.

  • Warranty: 60-day “Old Time – No Guff” warranty, starting on the delivery date. It covers everything except user error and changes you make to the software, settings or hardware. Warranty issues are fixed by repair. Full terms
